About the Event
On Saturday, 31st January 2009 the Manor Hall Association was very pleased to welcome a number of former bar managers back to the Hall. The Committee were joined by a representation of the last 15 year's worth of bar managers as well as other members of the Association and current residents of the Hall. In total around seventy guests congregated in the Stops Gallery for drinks, nibbles and conversation.
After a short speech by our President, Dr Martin J Crossley-Evans, expounding the benefits that the Bar has given the Hall over its lifetime, everybody made their way down to the Bar where James Philpotts, a former bar manager, unveiled a board in honour of the previous managers of Manor Hall Bar from 1994. A tour of the bar area was also conducted for previous Bar Managers.
