Manor House Refurbishment

As many of its recent residents could testify, Manor House was in need of a refurbishment both inside and outside! The original building dates from the early 18th century and was extensively altered and extended in the mid-18th and early 19th centuries.

A planning application (reference 20/00721/F) was submitted to Bristol City Council for the "repair and refurbishment of the external envelope and railings of Manor House" in February 2020. This application also included the replacement of some non-original elements and external joinery needing repair, as well as minor internal repairs.

It should be open again in time for it to be included on the tour as part of the MHA centenary event on 16th August 2025.
