It was lovely to have so many alumni and students attending the Manor Hall Carol Service 2021 on 10th December.
This year, the event was also meant to bring comfort and peace to those of us who have been around for a little while. The longest serving Warden in the University of Bristol and President of the Manor Hall Association, Dr Martin John Crossley Evans sadly passed away on 18th October 2021.
The Manor Hall Association would like to thank the wonderful choir and Dr Edward Beech, their choirmaster who worked so hard and added something special to the service.
We also would like to thank Liam Emery and the whole of the ResiLife Team for their continued support of this event and for supplying our refreshments this evening.
Our retiring collection was in aid of one of the hall charities, the Heswall Disabled Children's Holiday Fund.
The Manor Hall Association would like to wish everyone in our community a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
