On 1st August 2012, 30-35 Richmond Terrace officially became a permanent annexe of Manor Hall. It was previously managed by the University Student Houses and only came into use by the university in 2006 after previously being used as a hotel. The whole street was constructed in the 1780s as part of the building boom in Clifton between wars with France.
It provides self-catered en-suite accommodation for 92 students and has a large central common room, launderette and bike store. The MHA hopes this will be a very successful arrangement for existing parts of both Manor Hall and Richmond Terrace.
